Day 25 .... My Day in Detail.

Well part of the day happened some time between 12am and 3 o'clock. Something work up my buddy and he was pretty upset, so he came and crawled into bed with me. I vaguely remember this, but I remember him waking me up again around three. He was talking in his sleep.

We woke up again at about 8:30 and both showered. Talked to Zach on the phone for a bit before he got on his plane for Alaska. Then Carson played while I got prettied up for a job interview. I went for a nice button up red shirt, and pine stripe gray slacks. My interview was at Buckle for an Assistant Management position. Cousin Q got here around 12:30, she watched Carson while I went to Buckle. I met with the store manager and had a different kind of interview. I am used to interviews being off site, or in the back room away from noise, but this time we did it right on the floor next to the dressing rooms. The manager is a nice person, he recommended a good German place to eat at in Indy, turns out Nonie grew up just around the corner from there! I think the interview went well, I will know more here in the next day or so. Talk to Papa and Nonie both today. Made plans with Papa, we are headed there for Thanksgiving this year. The rest of the day was cleaning, rearranging and relaxing. Not much to do around here one it gets cooler. Carson and I had a picnic on the living room floor for dinner, and then he settled down for bed.

Right now it is storming like crazy. Tons of wind, several counties around us are on Tornado Watch. I am waiting for a call from Alaska, then headed to bed. I might work on adding another page tonight too!

Day Twenty-four

My House

Carson and I just moved here to Our House on Linden. Its a small one bedroom place, but its good for now. Our lease is only for six months, then we will move on to a bigger place. I really like it even though it is small. I think its really cute under Snow. It will look even cuter as I get Christmas things up and going. It is supposed to be a high of 30 here on Friday, so more snow to come. That last snow melted and we have been sitting at a nice 70 degrees here lately. White Black Friday anyone?

Any ways. There's not much to the house right now as most of my stuff is still in Arizona in Nonie's garage. This one is a "Temporary Home" and the next one will be a little more permanent. It works just fine for now though!

Day 23

A Youtube Video couldn't be a more fitting topic for today. I just posted a video to my Facebook page that made me smile. So that is what I am going to do today, videos that make me smile.

Day 21 and 22!

I am supposed to do a recipe for today, but I have plans for a recipe soon (Thanksgiving) So I want to save that for another day!

A website that I really enjoy to poke around at is Chickens In The Roads
I really love all the stories and information Suzanne shares, and hope one day my blog can be like hers!

Lenovo Latop Giveaway!

I was just perusing the internet being bored today when I came across this giveaway!

I entered Crissy’s Can’t Wait til Christmas Lenovo Laptop Giveaway and hope to win a $799.00 IdeaPad!

I decided to enter since my computer won't turn on, and Zach's screen is broken. We are both currently using one the BSU Basketball let Zach borrow for his school work. I would love to win this computer because it has some pretty neat features, like fingerprint recognition! Instead of remembering another password your finger print will do the trick! Wish me luck!

Day 20... A Hobby

A hobby of mine is writing. I love to write all sorts of things. I like to write on this blog, I like to write short stories and novels, and poetry. I have won a few small contests for some of my work, and hope to one day publish a book!

Another hobby I have is fishing! I love to fish! I started fishing as a joke, with a kid sized batman pole, then I caught the largest fish of the trip with that pole! I have moved on to an adult sized pole, but its pink and the real lights up. That means no guy will try to take my pole to fish with! Once I get my computer back up and running I will post some of my fishing pictures!

Day 19

One of my talents. I like to think that I am a good dancer. I sure hope I am since I plan to teach kids to dance one day. I just love watching a coreography come to life and see others interpret my vision. Next summer some time when I have all of our things again I will post one of my dances from high school and as I get into the courses at BSU I will post more and more of it!

Yesterday Today... Day 18

Still having issues with the internet, unfortuantely this will be the reality until next month I suspect.

My future wedding.

I was engaged to Carson's dad, so I had made desicions on what I wanted. Even though we split up I still want that wedding that I dreamed up. I want reds and yellows to be the colors. I want to get married in the fall, so it can be an outside party and the trees will match. I want the center pieces to be made up of leaves and wood. I want it to be mostly DIY, but I want it to still look pretty. I love to be outdoors, a pig roast complete with family and beer would be enough for me! I don't want to be one of those people who spends so much money on one day they spend the next few months trying to pay it off. I don't want to step outside our means, and start of stressed out. I just want simple and fun!

Day 15

My dream house :)

Part of the dream is Here but this is what I want to be around my dream house. I want a nice wrap around porch, with a swing somewhere on it. There should be a large bathroom, complete with jet tub and heated floors. There would be a room, just for me. It would have wall to wall shelving, one wall just to hold my yarn, and scrapbook stuff, the others would be for my books. If I had all the money in the world to go all out I would even have a small dance studio. There would be a beautiful kitchen decorated mostly in reds. Stainless steal appliances and a fridge that's paneled to blend with the cabinets. I would have a a double oven, and a built in griddle. There would be plenty of counter space to cook on, and and open living room so I could watch my kids. I would never want for more closet space, of more cabinets in the bathrooms. My kids would have something amazing and unique all their own, like secret passage ways or slides. The most important part to me is the fireplace. A large fire place, one to hang stockings on, sit and sip hot chocolate by, just a place to be together at.

Photo Shoot!

This was supposed to be a Mommy and Me shoot, but it was one of those days where Carson wanted to be on his own! Pictures were taken by Simply You Photography. All rights to these pictures are reserved to Diary of A Busy Mom and Simply You Photography, Copying, Reprinting, or any other publishing is prohibited.

Cookie Brownies!

The yummiest treat out there! Very easy to make too!
Simply mix up your favorite brownies and chocolate chip cookie mix. Then in a 9x13 greased pan spread the brownie mix out. drop balls of cookie dough evenly throughout the brownie mix. Cook at 350 degrees for 25 min, or until the cookies are a nice golden color!

Day 14

A Nonfictional Book!
Of all the pregnancy books I read this one was the smallest, and the most helpful. I laughed so hard, but got real solid facts about real life pregnancy. Her second book was just as good!

Honorable Mention

There is a picture up on My Country Blog of This and That that I absolutely love! Red cardinals in the snow is what I am looking forward to seeing now that I live in a place with snow and cardinals! She took a beautiful picture, and provided a great idea for a Christmas basket, I definitely think she is worth checking out!

Day 13

A Fictional Book

This is a fictional book that I highly recommend reading, along with the other books that come after it. This is a book worth reading over and over again! Also the movie is a pretty good representation of the book, its worth renting!

Under construction!

Please bare with me while I remodel! I do not have internet in my new house yet, and there is only so much I can do on my blackberry. I will continue to blog, but all the old posts will be on the old site until I can transfer them over. Also I won't be able to beautify this blog much until I get to a computer, eventually this one will look amazing! :)

Day 12

I am OCD about my hair, I don't care what it looks like. I am OCD about it touching my neck for too long. Its weird I can handle it touching me for long. I have to keep it put up all the time. But I'm not going to cute it short either, or else there will be a time where I can't put it up and get it out of my way. I will just single handedly support the rubber band industry.

The dream

If I could pick the place I would spend the rest of my life at it would be a farm. I would have a milking cow or two. I would feed chickens in the morning and watch spontaneous goats play and big floppy dogs sleep. I want cute kittens that play with leaves and noisy packs of ducks. I want to have to stock up for winter in case we get snowed in. I'm not so fond of shoveling snow but if that's what my price is I'll take it!

Day 8 a picture that makes me sad

This is one of my dogs, she had to be put down today.
