December is in the air!
The First Day of Christmas...
This is Carson's Halloween Candy Corn hat that my aunt made. The hat was much loved by Carson, see him Here relaxing in it! So I went down south for Thanksgiving with the family and my aunt taught me how to make these hats. It begins with a round knitting loom like this one:
I stitched about 16 rows, then doubled the finished piece up to make a nice rim to the hat. Then I added red to it, and a white puff ball. Carson now has a Santa Hat for Christmas to wear!

Day 25 .... My Day in Detail.
We woke up again at about 8:30 and both showered. Talked to Zach on the phone for a bit before he got on his plane for Alaska. Then Carson played while I got prettied up for a job interview. I went for a nice button up red shirt, and pine stripe gray slacks. My interview was at Buckle for an Assistant Management position. Cousin Q got here around 12:30, she watched Carson while I went to Buckle. I met with the store manager and had a different kind of interview. I am used to interviews being off site, or in the back room away from noise, but this time we did it right on the floor next to the dressing rooms. The manager is a nice person, he recommended a good German place to eat at in Indy, turns out Nonie grew up just around the corner from there! I think the interview went well, I will know more here in the next day or so. Talk to Papa and Nonie both today. Made plans with Papa, we are headed there for Thanksgiving this year. The rest of the day was cleaning, rearranging and relaxing. Not much to do around here one it gets cooler. Carson and I had a picnic on the living room floor for dinner, and then he settled down for bed.
Right now it is storming like crazy. Tons of wind, several counties around us are on Tornado Watch. I am waiting for a call from Alaska, then headed to bed. I might work on adding another page tonight too!
Day Twenty-four
Carson and I just moved here to Our House on Linden. Its a small one bedroom place, but its good for now. Our lease is only for six months, then we will move on to a bigger place. I really like it even though it is small. I think its really cute under Snow. It will look even cuter as I get Christmas things up and going. It is supposed to be a high of 30 here on Friday, so more snow to come. That last snow melted and we have been sitting at a nice 70 degrees here lately. White Black Friday anyone?
Any ways. There's not much to the house right now as most of my stuff is still in Arizona in Nonie's garage. This one is a "Temporary Home" and the next one will be a little more permanent. It works just fine for now though!

Day 21 and 22!
A website that I really enjoy to poke around at is Chickens In The Roads
I really love all the stories and information Suzanne shares, and hope one day my blog can be like hers!
Lenovo Latop Giveaway!
I entered Crissy’s Can’t Wait til Christmas Lenovo Laptop Giveaway and hope to win a $799.00 IdeaPad!
I decided to enter since my computer won't turn on, and Zach's screen is broken. We are both currently using one the BSU Basketball let Zach borrow for his school work. I would love to win this computer because it has some pretty neat features, like fingerprint recognition! Instead of remembering another password your finger print will do the trick! Wish me luck!

Day 20... A Hobby
Another hobby I have is fishing! I love to fish! I started fishing as a joke, with a kid sized batman pole, then I caught the largest fish of the trip with that pole! I have moved on to an adult sized pole, but its pink and the real lights up. That means no guy will try to take my pole to fish with! Once I get my computer back up and running I will post some of my fishing pictures!

Day 19
Yesterday Today... Day 18
My future wedding.
I was engaged to Carson's dad, so I had made desicions on what I wanted. Even though we split up I still want that wedding that I dreamed up. I want reds and yellows to be the colors. I want to get married in the fall, so it can be an outside party and the trees will match. I want the center pieces to be made up of leaves and wood. I want it to be mostly DIY, but I want it to still look pretty. I love to be outdoors, a pig roast complete with family and beer would be enough for me! I don't want to be one of those people who spends so much money on one day they spend the next few months trying to pay it off. I don't want to step outside our means, and start of stressed out. I just want simple and fun!

Day 15
Part of the dream is Here but this is what I want to be around my dream house. I want a nice wrap around porch, with a swing somewhere on it. There should be a large bathroom, complete with jet tub and heated floors. There would be a room, just for me. It would have wall to wall shelving, one wall just to hold my yarn, and scrapbook stuff, the others would be for my books. If I had all the money in the world to go all out I would even have a small dance studio. There would be a beautiful kitchen decorated mostly in reds. Stainless steal appliances and a fridge that's paneled to blend with the cabinets. I would have a a double oven, and a built in griddle. There would be plenty of counter space to cook on, and and open living room so I could watch my kids. I would never want for more closet space, of more cabinets in the bathrooms. My kids would have something amazing and unique all their own, like secret passage ways or slides. The most important part to me is the fireplace. A large fire place, one to hang stockings on, sit and sip hot chocolate by, just a place to be together at.

Carson's Camo Hat
I began this hat yesterday afternoon, I really wanted carson to have a warm beenie, and camo seems boy enough :)
This was the hat half way done around lunch time today.
And this is the hat completed in less than 24 hours! :) Yes I did sleep!!! Its really not a hard process, and its pretty relaxing! I will post tutorial videos on how to make a hat some day! :)
Day 2...
Once again I cannot pick just one movie that is my favorite. I can however pick two :) My two all time favorite movies are
Dirty Dancing
and
The Princess Bride
I think Dirty Dancing is a pretty obvious one, I like the dancing, Patrick and the whole concept of summer love. This movie is a fictional explanation of how dirty dancing began and flourished, shocking the parents, but taking over the dance floor. This movie is inspirational in its self. I can curl up to watch this any day! (the only thing that sucks, one the new DVD you need a remote to play the movie, and my remote likes to go on vacation regularly)
I love The Princess Bride, because it is a traditional fairy tale, but for grown ups. It's a little more sick and twisted, but that is because its following more closely to the book. I also really like this one, because in speech and debate in high school I had to play Vicinii, and I loved it! Who doesn't like a movie with fight scenes, pirates, princesses and Rodents Of Unusual Size?

A Thought
My best friend frustrates me because I can't tell them the important stuff any more. I'm still trying to figure out who's fault that is.
I am a klutz and sometimes a ditz but I hope you know those moments don't define me.

Carson's San Diego
San Diego Adventure
Saturday morning I wake up, and I decide I am going any ways! I need a break, and a weekend of fun! I ask Sugar Momma if she wants to go with, my treat, since I have all the food already. So we decide to just go! I rush and pack what I can think of, then we run to Sugar Momma’s house, but no one is home, and she can’t get in. So we go without some of the extra things she might need. We hit Nonie’s house to load up on a few other things, then off to San Diego we go! The babies both handle the car ride well, they fell asleep, and then we hit Yuma. We saw a billboard that just said “Call your parents” I had been talking to Nonie through text so I call Dad. We talk for a second, and then I realize the California boarder is coming up, No Phone Policy there, so I have to go. Just outside of Yuma there is a border patrol station. This officer with a hot European Accent flusters me. He asks “Citizenship?” I will admit my brain was fried, what the heck was he asking?? I give him the blank I’m-a-blonde-what-the-heck-do-you-want-me-to-say look. So he asks again, “Citizenship?” At this point I’m like don’t raise your eyebrows at me Mr. ask a complete question so I can freakin understand. So I tell him “What does that mean where do I live? I live in Arizona.” Again he just says “Citizenship?” I wanted to hit him, come on give me a dang hint! Then I see his patch, U.S. Border Patrol. Oh my goodness was I really that dense? What is the United States, John. (I love Jeopardy) Then he asks Sugar Momma, thankfully I answered right, so she didn’t have a blonde moment too. Then the weirdo asks the kids. Neither of them are even two yet, did he really think they were going to answer him?? Sugar Baby starts to wail, and large Border Patrol man breaks. He can’t handle it you can see the panic rising, so he tells us we can leave. Hallelujah thank you Sugar Baby!! By the time we make it to the next check point I know the answer, I am that dumb kid that raises their hand and says “Oh Oh me I know this one, please pick me I actually know it!!” Mr. Hottie waves us on, just looks in, and no questions. Burst my bubble. Finally we make it to the San Diego area; we actually stayed in La Jolla. The California roads are crazy; all the darn loops are nauseating! We had to go round and round a series of three and I want to puke! Then we hit the surface street. Cars park on the side of the road there, which is normal wouldn’t be a problem, if there was a parking lame. No they are parked half in the driving lame, and open their doors without looking the whole time. It was crazy. I figured if I drove like a maniac it was ok, they could just blame it on my being from out of state. I make it to the condo, and into the garage, no back tracking, and get down to the parking space, and jerk face has parked his car there. Where do I park my car? Ice Cream Man pays for that space; you cannot just take whatever you feel like because it is not in use. So I have to park in another space and leave a note. We get into the place; settle in get dinner cooking in the crock, and head to find the “close by” Target. I don’t know if I am challenged or not, but we followed the GPS in a HUGE circle and finally made it to the Target, but they were closing in fifteen minutes, and didn’t have what we needed. BTW Target in California is more ghetto than Wal-mart, or Kmart! It was scary! We find a Wal-mart, get what we need and ogle at hot men while in line. Head back to the condo and indoor camp on air mattresses. Carson is not a good sleeping buddy.
Sunday I work on calling a tow truck to get jerk face out of my space for the weekend. Finally the tow truck shows up and Mrs. Jerk face pulls in behind him. Calls hubby and has him move it, the tow company can’t take it if the owner shows up. I tell the lady that it has been months of notes and problems with her husband that we will take legal action against him if he keeps it up. Of course jerk face claims there has been no communication. I laughed at him and asked him if he remembered arguing with Ice Cream Man’s daughter, because I knew it was him that did it. You don’t mess with family, and Ice Cream Man is family, thus so are the girls. Argue with angry Momma Bear, and I will take you down. I think he realized the danger and just moved his car. Mrs. Jerk Face was nice, I feel bad she is stuck with a guy like that, but she can always get out, so I’m not to sorry. After this we take a trip to the beach!! We forgot to buy Sugar Momma a swim suit, so I’m in the waves in my skirt, and she’s wading in her shorts, which was fine. We walked the beach for a couple hours, and the babies did not care at all to touch the water. I would put Carson down as the waves came in, and he would only get his feet wet, but he hated it! Sugar Momma and I walked the beach with the babies on our hips until we were worn out. Then headed back to the condo for a nap. Carson did not take a nap, at all. After this we drove around looking for a place to eat, and ran out of gas. We are sitting there getting the strollers together when two hot guys pull up. They ask us for directions and leave us behind. What is wrong with people?! So we walked a half mile to a gas station where the gas guy was way cute, and got gas and hiked back to the car. After that we just wanted a little bit of home, so we ate at Coco’s instead of a California place. Then to the condo and bed!
Monday: We loaded the strollers up, and walked to get coffee from Starbucks (yum!). Then we packed the condo, and cleaned our mess. We headed to San Diego to shop in Seaport Village. Oh my goodness this place was ridiculous! The cost to park was outrageous, and there was so many people that we decided not to even get out. So we drove home! We stopped in the dunes for dinner, and continued on our way. In Maricopa I got pulled over for a damaged license, but no ticket! It is really good to be home in my own bed! The trip was a disaster, but it was so funny that everything went wrong, if it had been with any other friend I would have hated it, but Sugar Momma made it great!

broken...
Tuesday, August 24, 2010
My Opinion. (Ok its a rant, but don't say I didn't warn you)
First thing, is it sad my blackberry is better than my computer? I can text away the whole post on that thing, and it will fix all the errors! I don't have to put in apostrophes and capitalize, What a pain! Oh and I SUCK at spelling, the phone fixes it automatically! With the computer I still have to go into spell check, really?! really?! that's pathetic!
Second thing, Don't freaking tell me its time for my kid to be potty trained. He's not even two yet for God's sake, I am so proud that he has even shown interest and peed in the potty. Your kid is older and your kid isn't potty train. Don't make yourself feel better by putting me down. This chic has a freakin five year old still in diapers, not pull ups, or training pants, DIAPERS! I am glad my kid isn't old enough to understand how to aim at the cheerios in your toilet bowl. My son will still be "dropping the kids off at the pool" before yours!
Third thought, Don't pick your nose and drive, just because my eyes are on the road doesn't mean I'm not looking. Heck this is my only time to openly look for hotties with out trying to be sneaky.
Another thing I was thinking about. Justin Bieber. "Bieber Fever" has hit every where, but he just frustrates me. He is too young to be talking about love and romance the way he does. Your trip around the sandbox, and over the crosswalk to McDonalds with that chic wasn't love. I'm just saying. You just need "Somebody to Love" ?? Sure so do I and the other half of the world. Boy go home and love your Momma! She deserves it!
I was told today that I am loving. It made me smile, because it came from such a true friend I don't think I have ever been angry with them. I hope it stays that way, because they might not think I am loving after that. After some thought though I realized this is my problem. I love too much. I fall in love easily, and I love for a long time, so I am blind to the flaws longer than most. Why me? Not only is my poker face broken but I love too much. The only good thing that has come from this is my lack of trust. I know doesn't sound good, but mess with me once, I don't trust you again. It will always be lurking in the back ground. Keep your slate clean and we will do just fine!
Gym Daycares. Do you realize what they pay us? And you want to walk in there treating us like crap, while we watch your nasty mean kid so you can take a break. Don't lie, you know what your kid is like, you should be bringing us presents! We have one kid who is terrible, been kicked out of several gyms already. That's right he is so bad other gyms have talked to us to warn us! The other day he tells mom, "I hate this place time for us to find a new gym." It took everything I had to hold my tongue. "Please do" was screaming in my head. I am sorry, but I don't have much patience for a kid that socked mine, and hit me all in the same day.
Hospitals: No way in hell, not even if McDreamy is there to hold my hand. If you haven't figured that out, I think I just explained it well enough. I will only go kicking and screaming, or strapped down and unconscious.
Crayola makers: LIES!!! They are so not washable, it just fades.
Mr. Clean Magic Erasers: AMAZING, this is God's sponge, he just accidentally dropped it.
I am sorry I ranted today, but I had some strong opinions I felt needed sharing. If you are a new reader please forgive me and try again soon, just imagine the line was busy, and you didn't get through. Regular readers, comment! and you get to play pretend too. I am your favorite restaurant, the new waitress sucks, but you will keep coming back. For now its best to call out, "Check Please!" and run for the door!

Yesterday!
Baby's Daddy came over to pick up more of his stuff. Slowly but surely this house will be filled with only my stuff. I am moving everything left into the spare room so I can proceed with decorating! I am going to use this picture in my bedroom:
Its from Nonie's trip to Greece with the Ice Cream Man. I love it, and she made me a huge copy. I am thinking one blue wall and three pretty pictures will make my room AMAZING! After this, Bird's room!
Later in the evening I went to dinner with Matthew and ten other people to network with them! I met quite a few people that I hope to continue relationships with! I didn't get to talk too much with Matthew's wife, but the little bit that I did, I love her! She is so smiley and happy! I also met a very nice guy who works for Century Fox. He has many stories to share, I look forward to hearing more. He started at Harkins ripping tickets, and now he works with stars, you can do anything you put your mind to! I met three couples there too. One couple was very sweet, I hope to be in a relationship like theirs someday. In the second couple, one was an interior designer, and the other helped businesses manage and over come debt. The last couple I sat down with was a fun set! They meshed so well, they own an auto repair shop, and he sings karaoke on the side! Because the theater changed movie times on us I was not able to make the movie. I was a little bummed since we were seeing Inception. Yeah yeah I have seen it twice, but its that good!
On the way home from dinner my back pain came back, ten fold. I even contemplated the hospital, which is a big deal for me. I usually choose pain and suffer over hospitals. Especially if it means I have to go there alone. Nope, not for me! Said back pain is the reason for my doctors appointment. For now I will stick to Tylenol, which, is what I really need right now. I just have to make it to Wednesday.
Overall though dinner makes up for my malfunctioning back. The food was great (BJ's Brewery) and the company even better!
